Da Nang, the third largest city in Vietnam, is a coastal city that well-known for its natural beauty, sandy beaches, majestic mountains and fresh air. Coming to the hills is quite convenience because there is Carble Car system which hold two Guinness World Records.
From Ba Na Hills, visitors can continue to explore Son Tra Peninsula in the west of the city. Another name is Monkey Mountain because this is a mountainous area with many monkeys living. It is a combination of the long sandy beaches, picturesque landscapes, primeval forests and historical sites. Among all of the interesting outdoor activities, climbing up Ban Co peak is something not to be missed. It is one of the best place in Da Nang to escape busy traffic and enjoy the panoramic views.
Coming to Son Tra Peninsula, it is very regretful if you do not visit Linh Ung Pagoda. This is a sacred place with a quiet atmosphere and unique architecture. Linh Ung pagoda is home to the tallest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam. The Lady Buddha statue, surrounding gardens and pagodas make a great impression.
Da Nang city is surrounded by many rivers, so it has a collection of modern bridges. When the sun sets down, the city is lit up brilliantly by colorful lights of these bridges. Specially, the fire show on the Dragon Bridge on weekends and light show on Han river Bridge attract many young people and foreign tourists.
In addition, most of the bars, clubs and restaurants in Da nang are open till late night, so can give you an unique experience of the local nightlife and make your trip even more memorable.
If you spend a couple of days in Da Nang, besides the main tourist attractions, you can visit some of the cultural sites, such as Cao Dai temple, ancient Tuy Loan village, etc. Among them, Museum of Champa Sculpture attracts a large number of tourists. Located right in the city center, it is the largest collection of Cham sculpture and artwork in the world. Visitors to the museum will have the opportunity to appreciate the eight centuries of evolution of Champa sculpture. The museum is not so big but worth your time to pay a quick visit.

As a transportation hub, it's very easy to get from Da Nang to other destinations. It is only 30km to Hoi An and 40km to My Son sanctuary, travelers can choose between a private car, taxi, bus, or motorbike rental. With longer distance like Hue city, about 100km, the best way is by train or bus to be safe and save money.
